Education

Students interested in persuing an Electrolysis degree need to enroll in an Electrology School. Throughout the program, students will learn how to perform all types of electrolysis through state-of-the-art technology. Once the training is completed a license will need to be obtained as well as passing a Certified Professional Electrologist (CPE) exam. As soon as all training and certifications are complete, the student can then begin their career as a licensed electrologist.

Salary/Outlook

The Bureau of Labor Statistics anticipates that job demand in the skincare field will grow 40% through the year 2022. The average salary for a full-time electrologist is between $25,000 and $50,000 a year.
